Monterey driver pleads not guilty
A Monterey woman accused in Wednesday’s fatal accident on Highway 1 could face a murder charge if blood tests confirm she was high on drugs at the time. Calista Annette Garcia, 23, pleaded guilty in July to driving under the influence of narcotics. Court records show Judge Sam Lavorato Jr.
